A wonderful day out on the water

A few moments from our test run on the water with the Patriot.

We had a wonderful day out on the water last Saturday evening… Leaving Whangapara in the early afternoon and sailing along the Southern Coast of Great Barrier Island where we set the cray pots and then looking for some fish action.

We ended up at a place in the Channel where dropped our lures and fished in about 40m depth. Surprisingly it didn’t take long at all and Catherine caught a decent size Snapper and from that point onwards, it was all action with hardly any time to get a breath!
